SejrBank is a free, browser-based banking simulation. Students run a bank as its CEO and learn — by failing and trying again — why capital, liquidity and credit discipline matter. No installation, no cost, works on school laptops and phones.

What students learn

Five lesson ideas

1. The 10-Year Sprint race (one lesson). Everyone plays the 10-Year Sprint quick mode; compare medals and strategies. Who grew fastest — and who took the most risk?
2. The class duel. Give the class one duel code. Everyone plays the identical economy, so differences in results come only from decisions.
3. Crisis post-mortems. When a student's bank fails, the game's autopsy names the killer (thin capital, property concentration, a bank run…). Students present their autopsy and what they would change.
4. The 2008 case study. Pair the 2008 scenario with a reading on the real crisis. Which real-world failures did students reproduce?
5. Ethics seminar. The game's dilemmas — rescue a failing local factory, onboard a client with murky money, join a deposit-rate cartel — make good discussion prompts because their consequences come back years later.
